Merge PDF Files
Add two or more PDF files, put them in the order you want, and download one combined PDF. Handy for turning a scanned contract, an invoice and a cover letter into a single attachment.
Most online PDF tools make you upload your documents to their servers. This one doesn't: the merging happens in your browser, on your own device, so private paperwork stays private.

- Name the new file, then press Merge PDFs.
- Your combined PDF downloads. The original files aren't changed.
How merging works
Each PDF's pages are copied, in order, into a brand-new document. Text, images, page sizes and orientations are kept as they were, so a landscape page stays landscape and an A4 page stays A4. Files are joined in the order shown in the list, top to bottom.
Password-protected and damaged files
PDFs that need a password to open can't be merged; you'll be asked to remove the password first (open the file, then print or save it as a new PDF). A file that is damaged, or isn't really a PDF, is reported by name so you know which one to replace.
Things that don't carry over
A merged PDF is a simple joining of pages. Bookmarks, interactive form fields and digital signatures from the original files are not guaranteed to survive, and a signed PDF will no longer show as signed after merging. If a signature matters, keep the original signed file alongside the merged copy.
Keeping the file size down
The merged file is roughly the sum of the originals. If the result is too large to email, the biggest savings usually come from images inside the PDFs, which need compressing before you combine them.

Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?
No. The merging is done by your browser on your own device, so your documents never leave it.
Can I change the order of the pages?
You can change the order of the files. To rearrange individual pages inside a file, MoxuPDF lets you reorder, rotate and delete single pages.
Why won't my PDF merge?
It is probably password-protected or damaged. The tool names the file it couldn't read so you can remove the password or replace it.
Is there a limit on files?
This free tool takes up to 20 files of up to 50 MB each at a time.
Will it keep my links and forms?
Page content is kept, but bookmarks, form fields and digital signatures aren't guaranteed to carry over.
